Weissenhäuser Strand

Weissenhäuser Strand, Germany

About the hotel

Welcome to a holiday complex with a stunningly large and entertaining subtropical water paradise and exciting theme park called "Dschungelland"! This is Germany's largest water playground for children and adults alike and has some great attractions. Why not try the 75-metre long turbo slide – Germany's fastest. Enjoy the 156-metre long super slide with special effects and (if you dare) launch yourself from the 214-metre long tyre slide – the only one in northern Germany. The theme park will take you into a world of jungle magic, exotic residents and unforgettable experiences. The park is built on several floors and offers surprises that you never thought existed. Here you will find climbing volcanoes, trampolines, tunnels, a forbidden temple with labyrinths and an earthquake simulator. Try out the climbing wall, panning for gold and an interactive 4-D cinema. Look into aquariums and more than 40 vivariums built into rock caves behind safety glass (snakes, spiders, crocodiles, iguanas, dwarf adders, and more). In the high season, you will only be able to stay at the water park for 3 hours. - If you want to stay longer, you need to pay €2 per hour when you are there. At all other times you can stay as long as you want and come back later in the day as well. There is a large shopping centre on Weissenhäuser Strand with several restaurants, bars and cafés. You can choose from German, Italian or perhaps a little something from the Bistro? There is also a well-stocked food shop and a popular pedestrianised shopping area. You can choose to stay in an apartment or a bungalow with an equipped kitchen or kitchenette. Internet – available at a charge in most types of apartment and in bungalows, with the exception of those in the "Luv/Lee" and "Dorfplatz" areas. The various accommodation options are spread across the complex – see the overview map (click on Photos) to see where the different options are. Everything on the site can be reached on foot and much of the site is car-free. The Baltic Sea's wonderful sandy beaches, bathing pier and colourful beach basket chairs are at your disposal in the summer and there are excellent opportunities for hiking, bike hire, horse riding or playing golf. The Hansa-Park amusement park, with lots of family fun, is about 40 km from Weissenhäuser Strand, while the fine Hanseatic city of Lübeck is about 70 km away. Visit the Weissenhaus Castle, which gave its name to the holiday resort Weissenhäuser Strand. It will take you no more than a half an hour to walk there along the beach.
