Alicia’s Itinerary
Split – Historic Charm by the Sea
The journey begins with one night in Split, a city where historic beauty meets modern energy. This is a perfect way to ease into the trip, with time to arrive and get a feel for the city’s atmosphere. Take a stroll through Diocletian’s Palace, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, where cafés and restaurants are nestled within ancient walls.
End the evening along the Riva promenade by the Adriatic Sea, where the city’s lively atmosphere meets beautiful sunsets. For a more relaxing moment, you can also enjoy a swim at nearby beaches such as Bačvice or Kašjuni before continuing the journey.
Vis – Tranquillity, Nature and Authentic Island Life
From Split, continue by boat to Vis, one of Croatia’s most authentic islands, known for its relaxed pace and unspoiled nature. Here you’ll find crystal-clear waters, small coves and a landscape that invites pure relaxation. During your stay, you can visit the famous Blue Cave on the island of Biševo, explore the charming fishing village of Komiža, enjoy fresh seafood by the sea, and discover vineyards and scenic viewpoints across the island.
For many years, Vis was a military area, which meant the island developed more slowly than other destinations. Today, this history is visible through old military tunnels and viewpoints that blend naturally into the landscape, giving the island its distinctive character. Vis and its surroundings were also used as filming locations for Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again, something many visitors recognise in the island’s scenery.
Tip! To explore the island at your own pace, we recommend renting a car or scooter – an easy and flexible way to reach beaches, vineyards and more remote spots.
Hvar – Luxury, Beaches and Mediterranean Elegance
The journey continues to Hvar, one of Croatia’s most exclusive and popular islands. Here you’ll experience an elegant mix of historic streets, trendy beach clubs and top-class restaurants. Spend your days relaxing on beaches such as Dubovica or exploring the nearby Pakleni Islands, known for their turquoise waters and secluded bays.
Hvar Town is lively, especially in the evenings, but also offers romantic dinners, sunset views from the Fortica fortress and excursions to lavender fields and vineyards in the island’s interior.
A Final Night in Split – The Perfect Ending
After your stay on Hvar, return to Split for a final night before heading home. End the journey with a seaside dinner, a cocktail at a rooftop bar or a last walk through the city’s historic streets. A calm and comfortable ending that gives you time to enjoy the final moments of your trip.
