The journey begins in Arusha, a city located at the foot of Mount Meru. From here, you can reach some of the continent's most iconic natural areas: the endless plains of the Serengeti, the Ngorongoro Crater with its unique concentration of wildlife, and the vast landscapes of Tarangire with elephant herds and baobab trees.

You fly to Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO). Transfer by car to Arusha takes about 1 hour.
Nungwi – Beaches By The Indian Ocean
After the days on the mainland, the next part of the journey awaits. You fly from Arusha to Zanzibar, a journey of about 1.5 hours.
How To Proceed:
From the airport in Stone Town to Nungwi takes about 2 hours by car. Along the way, you pass small villages, lush plantations, and coastal landscapes that provide a first glimpse into the island's everyday life.
In Nungwi, you spend six nights by the sea. The beaches here are known for their fine white sand and clear, turquoise waters that invite swimming, snorkeling, and diving. Along the coast lie traditional dhow boats, and in the evenings, travelers and locals gather to watch the sun set over the horizon.
If you want to discover more of the island, there are plenty of opportunities: join a spice tour, stroll through the narrow alleys of Stone Town, or take a boat trip to the coral reefs off the coast.
